Is there a way to somehow get those live updates for games on a modded box without live, using some kind of game save exploit?  <

The only way I could see it is if people make the patch built into a save or as some random homebrew code.  The homebrew code is more likely.  But that means peopel would ave to somehow get the original fixes that LIVE sends out, which is pretty unlikely.  <
