So i installed my xecuter 2.2 lite plus in my mobo 1.1 and when i boot it up it does its thing (1 red flash, cromwell isert bios cd screen) so i decided to flash it. I take the chip out (unplug it fromt he external switch wich is set on enabled unprotected bank 1) and use the no cable mod and directly plug the programmer w/ the chip into the computer. The 2 red leds light up as well as the 2 blu ones ont eh chip when its plugged in to the usb port. now heres my problem...
i went to teh command prompt and told it to read the chip and it said error sync=4. Also, i couldnt find anywhere to plug the ground wire into so i just left it hanging and i couldnt find and flash protection on the chip - both things being mentioned in the tutorial but of course being no where to be found on my chip. anyway im not sure what the problem could be so i really need help badly. Please help fast!!
