Title: Bios Nameing Q`
Post by: Xeero on August 26, 2003, 10:14:00 AM
If you're flashing them from EvoX, then the name does not matter.  Just make sure their MD5 hash (the "ROM=" line) is in evox.ini.

You can name them whatever you want, and just pick from the menu.  I have seen where evox gets confused with long names (Xecuter2_4976.02_MultiVer_256k.bin for example)  Maybe its just the extra periods, i dunno.  I have bios1.bin, bios2.bin, etc, and it works fine for me.

The ROM = line isnt really required, evox will just show 'UNKNOW" if its missing.  But its a very good idea, cause at times you can forget which bios you have on what bank at a certain time.  The flash line is required.
