Title: Rawr. Troubles With 4978 Ftp.
Post by: Patchinko on August 23, 2003, 09:54:00 AM
Are you setting the Xbox gateway as the PC's (or Router's) IP ?

If yes, I dunno...

Edit : Sorry, that was just a dumb idea of mine. Like you said, you can't set any gateway adress for the X2 FTP... Well, then just make sure you didn't set the DNS or Gateway on your PC (like they say in the X2 4978 NFO...).

...set the xbox gateway?

How do you do that?

I thought you could only change the IP by going into the hex editor

ding ding ding, u need help.

Use a router, and make sure its enabled DHCP server (by default)

turn everythign off then turn it back on.

By default your xbox should automatically get an ip address. For me my Comp is 192.168.0.2 and xbox is XXX.3 and default gateway is XXX.1

ive had no problems so far, and plus i use a router for my LIVE.
