Title: Modchip Dead?

I Wanted to flash my cheapmod chip from c drive. had the latest xecuter2 bios saved there. Xbox locked up after erasing the current unknown bios half way. I Turned off my box after five minutes- coz I read the whole process takes 20-30 secs.

Well, xbox won't boot up with modchip enabled...obviously.

Box boots up alright with modchip disabled but I have a lotta files saved on the hdd and cant just leave the box to run that way.

How can I get EvoX to load up again.

yes it's dead...
maybe you can revive it by flashing it again...
or i have heard of a hotswap method...
if i'm not mistake here's how it worked :
run your xbox with a working chip
wait till it run evox
while the xbox on, change the modchip with a broken one
flashed it....

chinmi is right, lets hope your modchip is not soldered on your box.
