Title: Help With The Audio Hack

ok i have an action replay and all the save files neccesary to do the audio hack.. i first tried to do it by myself(using ftp) and i got  "cannot store anymore cds, u reached the max of 100" when i tried to do it and that was with the "with cd" version of the hack.. then i tried many auto installers, (pheonix loader, phoenix installer, morden V2, V3) and i got the same result  

im on dashboard 4034
V1.0 xbox

any suggestions on whats wrong?

You have the Live 2.0 dashboard and not the Live 1.0 4920 dashboard. You need to downgrade your dashboard to 4920.  <

Can that be done without a modded XBOX?  That's where I'm stuck right now.  I can't even run a gamesave exploit right now, so I can't FTP or anything.  <

If you can't put an exploit save on & run it, or even gain FTP access for that matter, you'll need to hotswap the hdd or put in a modchip.  <

ok i tried to downgrade my dash with the slayer disc(deleted my c drive then replace with the slayer c drive) but all i got was the screen of death saying my xbox needs service.. i backed up my c-drive so im alright, is there something wrong or what + isnt 4034 to 4920 an upgrade, not a downgrade(and could that be my problem)
wait read it wrong im on kernal 4034

oops lol.. but that still doesnt help the fact that the downgrade didnt work...

Double check that you downgraded correctly. Make sure all the files are there and you copied all the files over before shutting off your Xbox.  <

i double checked almost everything it was all there and i still get the screen of death

this is what i did

opened Evo-x with the mechassault save hack
i deleted my c drive
then i copied everything from System/ALL/c using using XBox ISO Reader 0.1 and put it in place of my HD
restarted my xbox (using the power button) and got the screen of death with a 21 up in the upper left corner of the screen
(using SlaYer's EvoX Auto-Installer v2.5FINAL from a torrent)

EDIT: I GOT IT :) i used xISO v1.15 instead of iso reader and it worked fine.. thx for all the help
