Title: Matrix Mod Bios
Post by: bombzhome on July 09, 2003, 09:01:00 AM
Ur gonna have to open ur xbox unless ur Matrix is in mode 4... to tell if its in mode 4 or not... look at the LEFT side of ur xbox where a orange and green light should be blinking... if its no blinking orange and green then it means its NOT in mode 4... so u gotta open ur xbox... PUT IT IN MODE 4 flash it and then switch back... i leave my matrix in mode 4 PERMANENTLY!

Wutang, are you using EvolutionX? There is a flash option in the settings option. Put the BIOS you want to flash with in the BIOS folder in C, and then flash it through EvolutionX. Again, Matrix in mode 4

The only problem with always beeing in mode 4 is the risk of having a bad flash. It's still less work than having to open your box whenever you want to flash though. I used the same BIOS as you at first but I went with complex in the end.

Just a quick note with leaving it on mode 4. If you let other people use your xbox then in your evox.ini file put a # in front of the flash bios line after you flash it just so no one else can try to flash it and mess things up.
