Title: Changing The Splash Screen On Bios

You cannot change the animation, only the color of the X.  This is sufficient to know if the chip is on or not.  And XBtool is incredibly easy; I'm not sure how it could frighten you.  Simply open up your BIOS image, make the changes to the colors, and then click Save As...  All done.

As Xeero said you cannot change the animation.  You can only turn it off or on.
