I may be wrong, but I think you need to create a custom 1MB bios if you want to use 2 256k or 2 512k bioses. You simply need the fisrt 512k ( or banks 1-2) to have Bios A and the second 512k(banks 3-4) to have Bios B

the switch must be connected to the bios jumper on the x2l.
