I am asking here because this is the MOTHER FUCKING GAME SAVE EXPLOIT forum, which is what I'm asking about.
I'm trying to confirm if you can still use the GAME SAVE EXPLOIT using 007 AUF and a hacked GAME SAVE, with a v1.4 and v1.5 Xbox.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can confirm if this is true or not.

Actally I know for a fact it works on 1.5. But because of the new chip PBL will scramble the video. So this might also happen depending on what bios you flash it with.

It doesn't seem like it at all.
I shouldn't have to explain to you that I have no issues flashing a TSOP. I already know that the v1.4 and v1.5 MUST have the M7 bios loaded on them. This isn't an issue. All I asked is if anyone can confirm if you can load a signed .xbe file within an 007 AUF GAME SAVE with a v1.4 or v1.5 Xbox, which have the newest dash board (that I heard in rumor that prevents you from using the exploit.). The only reason I mentioned the font exploit at all was because I was asking if it was the save hack that was affected by this, or only the font exploit.
You still don't understand this, and it's evident in your last post.

s...the 007 hack let you ftp to your hard-drive and it also let you boot xbox backups games but since it doesn't uses the font hack, which the font is use as the PBL in the bert/ernie font hack to boot up default.xbe which is the evox dashboard, so since 007 doesn't have the font PBL hack, every backups games and program need to be patch with xbedump to get it to boot using the 007 hack method...

Um no.
You run the game save hack
Set up an ftp
FTP in and install the fonts
Reboot. If you did it right it will load up to Evox.
From there you can install PBL.
Not the other way around.

lol, sorry to called you stupid on my last post but this is also another mistake
the 007 hack method is use to boot up the evox menu... so why use the evox menu again to install it again hehe
s... and by the way, if you install the evox first without the PBL, when you restart your xbox, it will still boot to the original xbox dashboard, unless you install the font hack with it too, which means the font hack itself is the PBL s...PBL = Phoniex Bios Loader = allow you to run unsign .xbe file
s...so the reason why the 007 hack method can boot the evox is becuase the evox .xbe file is already signed

MS can do whatever they want with the dash but they can't do anything with the already released 007/MA games. As opposed to win32 programming where libraries can be dynamically linked, all libraries in Xbox are statically linked which means you can't release a service pack to fix the exploit. The only way to fix this is to recompile those games with the newer libraries.
Furthermore, titles(applications) on Xbox always run on Ring0, which means no other background application can run at the same time any title does, not even the dash.
Bottomline is, it will take a huge resources to fix the problems with the existing games.

Why is everyone getting so hyped up and starting all this flaming. His question was simple enough. From all reports and my own experienes (up thru v1.4). The 007 exploit works fine and will get you into evox/ftp and raincoat. As stated the 007/mech hack is a fault of the game and I don't think it would be very easy for m$ or the publishers to fix this fault at this point.
Also as previously stated I would use the new Evox M7 bios if you are flashing xboxes newer than 1.3 as the newer units have a different video chip that is not supported by older bioses. If you flash with an older bios you will be screwed if you have the new video chip and end up with a scrambled screen.
I wish someone would figure out how to fix the M7 bios for BFM so we could use it with PBL. I wonder if a working M7 for PBL would fix the crimson skies problem or is that going to require some type of new media patching? I am surpised that no release or patch group hasn't figured this out yet. I guess m$ has the upper hand for now.
