Title: Xvid On Xbox
Post by: jmebonner on April 10, 2004, 04:30:00 PM
Could be the media you've used.  If it's an older box w/ a Thomspn drive, those are quite picky.  Regardless of what's on the cd, the xbox won't play it unless it sees it.  You could ftp the xbox to the pc and transfer it that way.  Works great for me.

Try FTPing the xvid video to the xbox and playing it that way.  If it still doesn't play even on your hdd, you should reinstall XBMP becuase something is f'ed up.  Otherwise, you know that the problem lies in the media you used.  BTW: Not many, xbox dvd drives read CD-R, so you'd need to burn the video to CD-RW or DVD.
