Title: Problem Playing .ogm's On Dvd-r
Post by: xboxistheshiznit on March 28, 2004, 04:06:00 PM
mad.gif . i have my XBMP dvd drive share set to iso9660 mode, so thats not the problem. but when i use XBMC to play them it works fine. the reason i need XBMP to play them is that XBMC doesnt suport subtitles in .ogm files yet  dry.gif . any help would be great.

update: test burned a dvd with a .ogm file using UDF filesystem instead and the xbox reads and plays it perfect. however i dont want to have reburn all those dvds, is there anyway to play these under iso9660 mode?

It could possibly be a bug in the version of XBMP that you're using. It happened to me too. Personally I don't really see why you'd want to play ogm in XBMP with the stage XBMC is at now, but, too each his own.
Try another version of XBMP.

Im using this version of XBMP.

xbmp-2003-10-29

I have a bunch of DVD+Rs and DVD-Rs that have anime with dual audio burned on them. all these are *.ogm.   they all play fine in both my thomson drive xbox, and my phillips drive xbox.

they where burned with nero 6302 I think in ISO/9660 format before I found neros udf/iso9660 FORCE XBOX DVD VIDEO COMPATIBILITY option.

everything works fine. but I have since started burning everything in udf/iso9660 xbox... mode. but my old burns work fine.
