Is this possible. I have music on the original xbox Dashboard. I would like to listen to it but the folder that I make to the music files don't work. Could this be because the drive is locked or something. Ok, for those who don't understand the problem, I would like to listen to the music on my hard drive without it being in two places. Some games allow me to listen to the music but if I want to listen to it on XBMP, can I still access that folder?

Only music with format *.wma working in original dash.

Have you added the folder with the music in it to the xml file for XBMP? Tried XBMC?

Ok, I was able to put my music files on XBMP that are on the M$ Dashboard but when I go to listen to it on XBMP, all I see is numbers. I changed the numbers to the name of the song, then checked if it worked with M$ Dashboard but it didn't. How do I get the songs to display their name on XBMP like on M$'s Dashboard?

The only way i found to do this is to copy the music from the data folder in to the xbmp music folder then rename then with the title and it will work in xbmp. to play them on the M$ dash thay HAVE to be numbered as this is the ID tag that the xbox has given each song if you change the name it will not work.
