ok i have tried this many times before but since i did the tsop flash i figured id try it again.
running relax so i can actually WATCH movies instead of watching them for 30 min and then it locks, which i was told was the fault of samba,, which to me sounds like the fault of the shady programming.
ok so anyways,. relax is doing the same damn thing it did befoer and i dont understand wtf it is

I get the crashing with smb and not so frequently with relax, it just hangs halfway through a movie. Mostly i have to re boot the xbox.
-
First things that comes to mind is
a SCREENSAVER ?????????!?!?!
Computer hibernation ?
a bug in XBMP/C ?
try official 2.4 release
XBMC has serious issues with the correct implementation of XNS..
your log looks fine.. except that the connection suddenly gets lost
"Command gotten *CAT" is just like the dos DIR command
the params is the path it wants listed... nothing special there///
it can also be your NETWORK switch/hub/router .. not maintaining the connection correctly

For what it's worth. Mine gets a ton of use and I've never had it crash or error. XBMP will crash before Relax on my setup.
