I have about 20 odd games on my HD and a few programs and emulators.
1) I currently have manually created shortcuts for each program with a thumbnail and pointed my xbmp config.xml at these shortcut directories.
This works well but the drawback is that every time I install a new game to the HD or a new program I have to manually setup a new short cut and thumbnail.
I know XBMP has the option to Flatten the My Programs hierarchy and that works but is dog slow for the number of programs and games that I have on my xbox.
What I would really like is a program that will scan my HD and create shortcuts in my shortcuts directory with a thumbnail. Of course if xbmp could speed up its Flatten My programs hierarchy that would be perfect. Avalaunch seems to do the same function very fast on the same xbox so im sure its possible.
2) Second issue is that when the Flatten My Programs hierarchy is enabled XBMP ignores .cut files. It would be nice for it to enable recognition of .cut files even when the flatten option is enabled. Some homebrew software do not have an icon in the xbe and for those programs I would create a .cut file with a .tbn so that they show up nicely when the views as icons option is enabled
