Title: Lost Frames In My Movie

I'm trying to watch 8-Mile on my xbox and it seems to loose frames, which is resulting in my audio getting ahead of the video.  I've tried offsetting the audio, but it doesn't seem to help any....So any suggestions, on how to fix this annoying problem?
