what video settings do you have on, like post processing, soften........

does this happen with all avi files or just some.?

turn on post proc 1 + 2 and turn on soften, turn off anamorphic source.  Then try bringing up the white button and the av-delay/subtitle menu... just to see if that slows them down too.  That would mean there is a problem resizing the video i guess  but i wouldnt know what to do about it sorry

sorry i meant the status bar which comes up at the bottom not the menu..... has anyone had that prob??

i'll try the things you said anyway.... thanks for your help peeps
