place the 'XBOX Media Player.cut' file in the root of c:\

It is in the C root.

Please, anyone, help me fix this.

I have xbmp 2.4 setup as my default dash and it works fine.


Did you copy the default.xbe to your c: drive ?

Also use the ms default dash , go into the game saves section and delete the xbmp save data.

All is working now.

I installed XBMP 2.4, worked in one go.
Something must have been wrong with the old xbe I used...

I'm really happy with Xbmp as dash.
It solved all my hang problems.
