Title: Syncing Subtitles Then Locking Them At That Sync P

Playing Divx movies with subtitles sourced from another place. The subtitles can be out by minutes and it can take over 10 minutes just to sync the spoken part with the subtitle part.
What I would like to do therefore is to lock the sync point so that subtitles and mouth match, when I play them the next time round.
