yea, i also use to rename but, whenever i loaded xbmp it would freeze on me all the time. So i decided to delete the skin.xml and media folder, and upload the same skin or other skin i would want to use. i do this everytime and it works.

If you are running xbmp on a tv or some other non-widescreen source, nor running it in HiDef, then you don't need to do anything other than copy the new skins' media folder over the old one in your xbmp directory.    I keep all my skins in a folder on my F drive, and when I feel the need to change, I use boxplorer to copy a new media folder over the old one.  Easy and fast smile.gif

im gonna do that as well when i get home
