i ran across this for the dvd drive and wanted to know if it was what i needed to prevent ddr's and video skipping on my discs

also, is it hard to do this, because i'm no good at things like soldering and whatnot.
thanx in advance

dude seriously just open up your thomson drive and see if its fucked inside. it might just need a cleaning or a re-placement. it is surprisignly easy. if it all LOOKS fine, then it might just need a cleaning, use a qtip and some windex or something but just go easy on it, be careful. clean it off with one of those cloths you use to clean your glasses or whatever. seriously.
EDIT: a thomson will never be good at reading cdr's though. ever.
