put your dns number and remove *'s from LINE.

this link will give your IP address for internet ... plug that number into the LINE I referred you to ...
That's what i have plugged in it ... i just checked ... and it's the same number and it connects to Shoutcast and Movie Datebase....
are your other numbers correct?
gateway?
and xbox ip address?
if so ...that should work

I have IMDB and Internet Radio working ok . . .
I have nameserver as my router ip i.e. default gateway . . .
<gateway>192.168.1.1</gateway>
<nameserver>192.168.1.1</nameserver>
This probably works like . . . if cant resolve IP on local subnet then go out onto internet and resolve.

I plugged in my gateway ip and it also connects me ...
so you have 2 ways.... his and mine ...
if that doesn't work ... i'm thinking it's one of the other numbers that are wrong.

<nameserver>192.168.1.100</nameserver> default gateway or internet ip number i referred you to
Those are the numbers i have plugged in and work for me... i have a router ...
in evolution setup i made my xbox address static .... so it never changes ...
Maybe others can see what's wrong ... i gave my 2 cents!
P.S. You can FTP to your xbox from pc right? ... because if you can ... then your gateway is right ...and that's the number to plug in ... and also you would know you have the right xbox ip ...
But if you can't FTP to your xbox ... fix that first!
... then you can do this... seems to me.

create a folder on your PC in shared place ...named..Shoutcast folder ....
and you can listen to the Internet Radio on your xbox ...
That's what i did ... the first week ...because i had a hard time firguring it out ....
at least you still can listen to all the stations on your xbox by clicking on the shoutcast sc or pls files ...
the only advantage to doing it from xbox... is if you didn't want to have your pc on... since my PC is on all the time ... i have 2 ways to listen to internet radio ... either click on PC C shared/Music/Shoutcast folder ... or xbox f:music/shoutcast ...
you just are out of luck on movie database until you solve your problem ... my problem was i forget to remove the *'s ... but i see you did that already ...
