it depends how it has been packaged for download . . .

could be in zip or rar format . . .

the complex (point release) 2.3 release is around 10mb

a CVS (new features, bug fixes etc) is around 3mb

I just wanted to know because I downloaded it as a word doc yesterday I think.  Now I just have to figure out how to put it on my XBOX....

if you have evox as dashboard you can use an FTP client to install it
onto your xbox HDD . . .

uncompress file xbmp23.rar to PC . . . i.e. c:\xbmp\ . . . if necessary configure config.xml

connect to xbox via FTP and transfer xbmp folder to xbox HDD . . . i.e. e:\apps\

resulting in . . . e:\apps\xbmp\

i choose to use e:\apps\xbmp\ as the CVS build config.xml uses this path as the home dir.
