| Hi, yep I'm here. I've been hacking at the xbox shoutcast player to try to get it to stream shoutcast streams from my proxy. Local testing with winamp and freeamp works fine (they can use the proxy without any problems), but shoutcast on the xbox buffers 0 bytes then croaks. I've waited about two weeks for the devs to reply to a request on the command protocol and how they implemented it, but no reply. So I have to resume hacking at it until it works. Which takes a long time since the xbox has to be rebooted after every failed test :/ |

| Here's the update: I can't get a peep out of any of the xbmp people on the xboxmediaplayer.de dev forum as to how they have implemented shoutcast requests, so until then its not worth the effort to reverse-engineer their crap ( a typical debug session consists of me having to reboot the xbox every time it crashes trying to retrieve a shoutcast stream ). Quite annoying really. |
