Title: Does Xbmp 2.3 Install Over Slayers Ver 2

Edit the new 2.3 config file with your info. Then copy all the 2.0 files to your PC (Just for safe). Delete all old XBMP 2.0 files on the XBOX, and copy all the new 2.3 files into that directory.
Worked perfectly for me.

hi thanks for info pal but i dont know how to edit my config file,any help would be great thanks

use slayers to install the old XBMP, after slayer has finished installing all the appz. Download a new version of XBMP and FTP the new XBMP to overwrite the old files located in the E:drive

do i need to edit the config file if i just overwrite it?

no u dont need to edit config file, unless u want to use SMB, relax or TV listings. but it will help alot if you learn to edit config files.

well ,i have edited my config,and ftped 2.3 across to my box, now i can see my movies,but xbmp still says vers 2.1 instead of 2.3,but i can see movies that i ftp across,should i delete my old version
first or leave it alone now.also plz could you explain what tv listings are plz.thanks in advance
