Title: Them Ol' Shoutcast Blues
Post by: Perplexer on March 21, 2003, 04:37:00 PM
Just having your xbox connected to your PC is not enough; for XBMP to play the .SC files directly, it needs to be able to access the internet.

This will involve:
1. using a broadband router; or
2. having your PC provide Internet Connection Sharing through Wingate, Winproxy, ICS, or similar.

Follow any of the guides on how to set your Xbox up to connect to Xbox Live -- the process will be exactly the same.

Sorry willy I meant the xbmp config file

Look for this part and set your proper gateway

<local>

       <address*>192.168.0.160</address*>
       <subnet*>255.255.255.0</subnet*>
       <gateway>192.168.1.1</gateway>
