How can i tell what version XBMP i currently have on my Xbox ?

launch your current version of XBMP.

the release is in the top left hand corner.  it is also commonly written in
readme.

be aware that CVS release updates every other day.

3-7-03 is the latest (last time i checked)

if you are able to just ftp the files directly to your xbox where your current files
reside.  you may want to backup your existing files b4 do so.

with every release i just overwrite the old.

with the CVS release it is necessary to edit the XBOX Media Player.cut file and place
this in your xbox HDD C: partition.

an e.g.

<shortcut>
<path>Harddisk0\Partition1\apps\xbmp23\default.xbe</path>
</shortcut>

edit the file config.xml for further configuration.

hope this helps  wink.gif
