Try to update regularly, up do once per day.     Try at least to get any of the march CVS builds.   There was bugfix in the 28. feb, rel. - which made it much more stable.   And if you are not using a <cachesize> tag for your video shares, do it now.  I use a 4096K buffer for video.  It crashes up to once or twice per full movie, but it's better than nothing.

Or give Relax a try, no crashes so far!!!

Well that was worth a try, at first I had a bit of problems getting Relax and XBMP to communicate but that's working now too, when the SMB's don't work I can switch to Relax. And when Relax seems to be an improvement I will probably switch to Relax permanently. Several users also gave me this suggestion so let's find out what works better. Thanks Cube !
