Title: Iso9660 Dvd Playback

I've noticed quite a few postings on the site regarding playing dvd's on XBMP (with supportable menus, chapter selection etc), and I for one think it's a great idea!

My biggest reason is that I own a few dvd-r backups that I burnt using ISO9660 format, and now I can't find any way to make them playback using the MS DVD Playback kit or DVDX-2... I know my xbox can see/read the files as they appear under ISO9660 folder within XBMP2.3, and they'll play back - only quite choppy and the picture quality is not quite right. Is there something I'm missing here, or will these two aforementioned dvd playback programs not play any movies other than those burnt to UDF? Both my PC and my mate's PS2 don't seem to have this drawback tongue.gif

Have you tried changing the iso9660 cacheing option under settings?  Other than that, it could be that the drive is struggling to read the disk, can you try putting the disk in your pc and streaming it over the network using relax?
