Title: Movies Backed Up On Dvd - Iso9660 Format
Post by: cube on February 25, 2003, 11:06:00 PM
I made a couple dvd-r's (on a Pioneer A04) with Prassi Primo DVD (Record Now is the later version of this program), I use UDF128. And it works great! I couldn't get it to work under Nero though.

What speed are you burning?? I have trouble if I burn on 2 speed instead of single with my regular DVD's, might be worth trying to burn on a lower speed if you didn't already...

Regards,

Cube

I had exactly the same problem.
the xbmp team ignored my questions
on this matter. (as if i never posted)

Easily overcome.......use boxplorer
to transfer the movie to yer xbox HD and play
it from there...works perfectly then..only takes 5mins!

biggrin.gif And not everybody out there has a big HDD, so it's easy if you can swap dvd's without having to worry that it won't play on another box!

pjclark1, I really think you should upgrade to the newest version of nero, as it had solved all my issues. Sure, your way is working, but as Cube said, perhaps save yourself 5 minutes by getting your burn process to work better. Hopefully these are DVDRW's your using.

As I mentioned the newest version of nero has a checkbox that needs to be checked.  In the new compiulation select DVD-ROM(UDF) and under the UDF tab you will see the checkbox (force DVD-Video compatibility mode (required for xbox)). Hopefully it will solve your problem too.

Good luck!
