what do you mean by iso's.  The term is used so loosely these days.  Are they AVI or MPG or DAT for that matter.

by iso i mean exacly that. in reading the mediaplayer 2.2 instruction manual and i quote "stream files directly from ISO/BIN/IMG/ZIP files (only via Relax)". basicly what i am trying to do is just point xbmp to the iso and play the video file from there without extracting it to .dat and streaming it that way or converting it to .mpg and using smb(samba) to stream it. thanks

Hmmm..... To be honest I think you are better off decompressing the files into a directory.  I have not tried it your way but I can imagine even if you get it working (god bless if you do) it would have some serious load issues and would most likely decompress it into a temp file to begin with (for instance, when you insert a divx in xbox and run XBMP it copies it to temp file and plays.)

Anyway, Wish I could have helped more but good luck
