Quicktime = never. Quicktime isn't an open codec. Realmedia might come one day tho.

Just tell what you would like to see in Xbmp

That has nothing to do with XBMP. It's the Xbox's DVD drive. It does read CD-R if you have a samsung DVD drive. . . .

Yes, FFD and RWD does Crash alot from the Game Pad. Try using the Remote Control. FFD and RWD work pretty good for me with only a slight A/V sinc problems that can be easily adjusted on the fly... IMO: The Remote Control is the best and easiest way to use XBMP.

2.2 supports windows media player DLL files. Quicktime is supported by the latest version if you put the right DLL files into the dll FOLDER. See http://www1.mplayerh...eleases/codecs/ for the codecs. |

.TS is esentially MPG with some extra stuff for broadcasting the hdtv stream. so xbmp plays wmv9, i was unaware, i will have to try when i get home.

I would really like to see this: When browsing through the movies in XBMP, we should be able to press some button, and a window pops up with a description of the movie. We would need to input the description ourselves, but thats not to hard to find online.

Again added! Try to read the other posts in this forum section. Press the white button while on a folder or movie file, and XMBP will try to contact the Internet Movie Database and pull up information about the movie. But it's still unsupported and crashes alot. But I like it. I especially like the fact that you can also do this with folder names, and not just file names. I also ran across this. This program parses information from IMDB and and can also output the contents of a collection as a XML file. It'd be cool if support could be added for all those tags and you could perhaps use the exported XML description file and have XBMP read information about your collection from there. And then you could access it by pressing the white button. I dunno whether or not it'd work, but I like the program and think it's a good way to manage a large movie collection. |

*Note sure if these have been suggested already or are implemented in current version* A way to zoom in on a Divx/DVD/etc while paused. Ability to run XBMP as your desktop, I have a Xbox I only use media player with, would be nice if it would autoload. Play a DVD from Media Player(Not sure if this works or not) Ability to manipulate files(Kind of like Boxplorer in MP) FTP support Way to set it to play random in a directory, and not just playlist Visual junk, like WMP and Winamp has, the trippy stuff, not skins To play the extracted .dat files from SVCD and VCD More custimization with the menus(HAven't checked if you can do this much) Perhaps a better fast forward, like skip 1/4 ahead or something? DTS support Maybe a screenshot for movies? Ability to stretch the screen Offtopic kind of, but can you replace the Xbox DVD with a regular DVD to play cd-r/etc if you don't want to play games? Awesome work with what you've done with it so far, I really enjoy it~

Then second I would have to say FTP'ing. I have my computer downstairs and my 'box upstairs. Sucks to have to run up and down. No big deal but this is an "if you had tree wishes sort of deal", so there is two off the top of my head.
