Title: Urgent Help Needed!

Ok i followed a guide on this site to flash my tsop chip using evox.  I got everything hooked up right (i used a lighted switch and it was on) then started the flash.  It erased no problem, but then half way through the install it just stoped!  Right now i'm sitting at the evox flash bios screen with the bar half way full.  The time and the temp are still going so something is still working.  Fyi i used 007 auf with x2 4981 fixed bios with a switch on a 1.0 xbox. any help would be apreciated.

*Update* i turned my xbox off and tried booting with the ms bios on off on off flash.  ok tried the x2 bios, and it worked fine!  i'm hoping that i can get the ms bios from "the usual places" and fix this problem.  I'm currently searching to find a tutorial on how to do this, so if you know of one please let me know!  Thanks in advance!

Create a 1mb bios with the ms bios on half and the x2 bios on the other half, load up the good half of the tsop, load evox, put the bios on, restart the xbox, cut the wires going to the switch then flash it with the 1mb bios.  Turn off the xbox, reconnect the wires, and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the help, but i'm kinda lost.  It could be that its 2:17am here, but its probably just that i don't know enough to understand what you said.  If it would be possible for you to explain what you just said a little more in depth i'd really apreciate it.  Again thanks for your help!

Ok, here's what i did: I made a 1024 bios using an origional ms bios and an x2 bios.  i put it on my xbox and loaded up 007 auf got to the flash bios screen and removed the switch.  The flash completed no problem, and the x2 bios still works, but the ms bios still doesn't. (on off on off flash) Any ideas? as always thanks for the help! :D

well its official, my xbox it totally fubar.  i guess i'll just have to get a mod chip for it and buy another xbox for xbox live <_<

You wont have to buy a second box for live.  When you put in the chip, just flash one of the banks with the ms bios, ms doesn't care where the bios comes from as long as its in memory when you sign on live.
