Title: Upgrading Xbmc
Post by: Bomb Bloke on March 16, 2009, 02:27:00 AM
If you have multiple XBMC folders, check the log files in each of them. By reading the time stamps you should soon be able to work out which one is loading when you turn the console on.

Remember, you cannot completely update a given XBMC build while you are running that build. Load a different one and do it from there. Remember to delete the old files before transferring the new (though you can keep your UserData and other custom files, of course).

The time stamps are written in the logs themselves.

Yes, you'll need to run a different dashboard. That can be one of your other copies of XBMC, if you like.
