Title: Im Rdy To Go But Have A Few Questions

Ok
#1. When hotswaping my xbox's hdd to my computer. Should the hdd be powered by my computer or the xbox?? In the case that the xbox should be powering it. Should my computer be powered on when swaping the ide cables?? Should it be booted into windows??

#2. I have the evoX v2.6 bios. Its 256kb. Now Im under the impression that all v1.0 need a 1024kb bios image. How do I prepare the image I got to suit my xbox? Or is it allready ready to go??

#3. What is the best program to use to backup the xbox's harddrive?? For some reasion HDD_Driver is giving me DLL errors when I try to run it.

Im sorry if these have been awnsered before. I looked around quite a bit before posting this. After reading through this tutorial these are the questions that are still bothering me.

1. hdd should always be powered by the xbox. look at the hotswap tips in the eploit forum in the tutorials section. basically, you want to swap while comp is in windows.

2. yea you need a 1mb bios file. just dl a new bios thats 1mb.

3. google for the dlls.  <
