Title: If I Upgraded The Memory On My Xbox...
Post by: deadontheradio on June 19, 2005, 02:22:00 AM
so, ive been reading around about windows emulation since i'd like to play games such as half life, diablo, etc, on my box, and it seems the major problem is ram. xbox comes with 64? I know if i manualy add more ram(i'd make it 512) i can improve performance for linux and my n64 emulater(from what other peopel tell me, i havnt actualy done this and tested it), so my question is, if i upped the ram would windows run reasonably enough to play old school games like half life or diablo, doom, etc etc.

and info would be apreciated.

I'm not sure the Xbox supports any more than 128mb of it's special ram.   (It isn't SDRam or DDRam)
