Friend of mine wants to upgrade his softmod xbox with a 200 gig drive which is a western digital. everything works fine using xbhm v1.9 only problem though is when i go to lock the drive. If i try to unlock it i get a message saying "this drive is not locked" so i then proceed to lock the drive but when it shows the status it show that the drive is not lock. SO my question is and I have tried to search though google but time is very scarce for me at the moment and just wondering if someone can point me the right direction or at least explain if there is a reason why this hard drive particular will not lock considering i just did one using the same program on a 200 gig maxtor drive. Thanks for anyone who helps me out

Not all drives are lockable. Search the model number +lock on a search engine or look on here for a compatibility listing.
