Title: Hdd Size= # Games Stored
Post by: aweirdguy on May 26, 2003, 12:25:00 PM
I dont see anyone post what a larger hdd can hold... I'm assuming that I'll have EvoX and some standard apps installed, but past that how many games can I store on a drive? 40G, 80G, 120G? I want to buy a drive big enough but not waste money on one bigger than I might need..... thx!

That really depends how big your games are?!?

Exactly my question. How big is the "average" game? Obviously some games take much more space than others, but if you install 20 random games will they be likely to take up 10G or 40G? I'm looking for a ballpark guess not a quote down to the decimal point....

Most games are about 2 or 3 gigabytes.

However, some are as small as 300 megs, and some are as large as 7 gigs. But typically they are 2 or 3 gigs.
