Title: Surreal 64 - Roms Located On A Network Nas
Post by: wallace4793 on January 15, 2008, 12:36:00 PM
Hi

Is it possible to store all my roms on a nas connected to my xbox via a wired network? Ive tried mapping the drive to give it a letter in windows and trying a samba share in the rom location in surreal.ini with no luck

Anyone tried anything like this b4?

John

Surreal has no inbult Samba share functions. If you want, if you know some C / C++ download the source and put it in yourself and release it to the rest of the world.

This would be an absolutely awesome feature. Xport has made many of his ports to run with samba. If anyone know's how to contact him, maybe he'd be interested. I reckon he should be able to do it fairly fast as he's done it so many times in his own ports. Or is anyone else interested?

So that means that Surreal 64 will be dead unless someone picks it up...
