I have a lot of original Sega cd games and I am trying to get them to work with either NeoGenesis or Xenesis.
The problem I am having is that when I insert the disk and run it through the emu all I get is the old sega CD disk player menu which lets me listen to the audio but not play the game (the first track is just a buzz as its a data track)...
I don't think my drive is the problem as it was supposed to be one of the good phillips and reads all my cd and cd-r's even plays divX from cd-r...
what am I doing wrong? have I missed some hidden setting or something?
any help greatly appreciated..

Try formatting the memory... by that I don't mean the actual Xbox hardrive. When you get to Sega-CD dashboard, one of the buttons should say "Memory". Select that and then select the format options (I think there are two of them). Once you have done that select the "CD-ROM" button and see if the game starts.
