Title: Help! Can Anyone Get Unreal Tournament (linux) Onto The Xbox?
Post by: xboxmods2977 on July 21, 2010, 07:49:00 PM
Nice. Thanks for the links. I may attempt installing this on my PC (Ubuntu Lucid Lynx) and from there, it should be easy to get it on an xbox distro, depending on the distro and minimum PC requirements for the game.

There's no 3D acceleration support in any xbox linux distro and the 2D acceleration AFAIK is only available from the nv driver from Nvidia.

xboxmods2977, please let us know how you get on.

ldotsfan, UT does work under software rendering, but I don't know how that will work with XBox Linux. Hopefully it will prove possible, and UT definitely has enough gameplay to compensate for any graphical letdowns that software rendering might bring.
