You gotta be a bit more specific than that, what version xbox and what Bios did you use. The last Chameleon I installed did the same thing as you are describing and it turned out that the Bios I had flashed on the thing didn't support the newer Focus video chip in the 1.5 box took it out reflashed it (and resoldered the arm for the D0 point as the guy that first tried it snapped it) and everything was a go. Fired up first time...

Make sure your D0 connection is good (and right)

Try bending the pins on the no solder adapter outward (just a little bit), it will have better connection then.

Flash the Evox Xchip Bios ver 1.0 using X-Control (Load Raw/Write)

The Evox XCHIP Bios is a full image (similar to the 4MB image supplied with the chip)

You use the Load Raw function in XCONTROL, don't have to worry about banks.

If everything works the way it's supposed to then you should see the normal animation, and a text in the bottom reading "Press Start to enter setup"
Furthermore there is a big pinkish Evox logo (same as on m8)

Good luck

To make sure that your flash chip is 100% ok i would suggest that you start by flashing:

Evox X-Chip BIOS ver 1.0
or
The original Cromwell BIOS Image

Both images are 4MB, and can be flashed using the load raw function (see the manual on XCHIP restore !!! )

You have to figure out what version XBOX you have !!!!
http://www.xbox-scene.com/versions.php

The version number you see in Xcontrol has nothing to do with your XBOX version.

If it is a 1.6 BOX then you need to Solder, and also a special BIOS.
