I'm having someone mod a box for me and i wanted to get a clear case from llama.com and put all the hardware in there. will this work?. also i wanted to put some led's in it if it could work can someone tell me a good place not only to buy them put a good place where it offers tutorials or something on how to install them

Yep, swapping the cases would be fine. if you need help on leds and such, have alook in the pinned topics inside the xbox case/hardware modding section of this forum.
