Title: Xbit Support Version 5 Xbox?
Post by: Arakon on October 05, 2003, 10:06:00 PM
uhm.. any 1.3 capable mod works with 1.4 and 1.5 xboxes.
on 1.4, you just need a 5101 based bios (evox m7), on 1.5 you need a 5101 based bios and to solder 3.3V and GND to the proper pins on the lpc port. that's all.

...Regarding xbox 1.5 versions...

Just when you think your out of the solder maze, it pulls you back in. Argh.. So, in essense, I can use the pogo pins but I also have to plug the wire connector to the xbit and solder the green wire (pin2) and white wire (pin9) to a ground and 3.3v respectfully? So green to ground (screw area) and white wire to a 3.3v source?? If so, which source? Or do I have this all wrong and solder the points on the motherboard to renable the ground and 3.3 volts. I wish this would be made clear to noobs like me.
