the DVD window I cut (to showcase a freefloating spindle mouted on a plexi top I've been working on)
the side window I cut.
the immage I'm gonna etch in that window.(Yes It's Etna from Disgaea, My roomie has a thing for angels, so I figgure some Demons will throw his Halo game off)
and finnally the hole I had to recut to mount an 80mm fan in the back. (One will be mounted in the window too)
Sorry, still no bondo, still got some sanding to do, and I really need to grind down the edges on the case I just cut. More pics tomorrow.
The red is Dupli-Coat Torreador red BTW, the other parts will be candy apple red.

Its his DVD window, just that he dosent have the DVD drive in place yet. Anyways, GREAT job, I love this thing.
I really like the colours and the cutouts.

The Xbox mobo is neither it has it's own hole-set.
I just traced them onto the MOBOpannel and drilled them and bolted some standoffs into them.
The colors were mentioned a while back.
Anywho, got windows cut, front plate bondoed today and side window half etched.
Here are some teaser pics.
BTW, Like those bolts to hold the window in?

You should do a tutorial on this, even though you don't have pics of you doing it in steps, but you could do a good written tutorial. I haven't seen any good XBOX => PC tutorials.
I love the red colour, and I just have a question. Are you going to keep the DVD bezel or keep the DVD player flush to the box?

Why would you need a tutorial? just buy some standoffs, cut holes for them and mount the mobo and psu. HDD and DVD slot straight in and bolt in place; and thats it. The major part of this project is the design, which is cut a hole in the metal side, mount window which you can buy in most pc shops. And the powder coat can't be done unless you have the equipment or know someone with it. You people rely on tutorials too much.
