Title: X2 4977 Bios And 160g Hd Only Shows 120gb
Post by: roddyrex on September 07, 2004, 08:11:00 AM
I just installed a 160 Gb Western Digital hd and my F: drive is only showing up as 120 Gb of free space.  I'm using a Chameleon chip and x2 4977 bios. I built the hd using slayers v2.5.

you probably have to edit the bios with a tool to add in support for drives greater than 137gigs.  I would just go get the newer bios like the x2 4983.
