all you can do is try a couple different brands of media and hope for a better success rate.

I have a Rioch DVD +R/RW and the only RW disc that my X-box will load is the one that came with it. I have four other brands of +RW dics i have tried to no avail. I have one more brand that i'm going to try. Even the one that came with the drive has it moments that it wont load but at least it works for time to time.

From what i have put together so far is that the media you is only half of the battle, the other half is the X-Box DVD seems to have narrow to wide margin on the type of media that you can use from X-Box to X-Box.
