2. On earlier versions, my xbox was listed as v1.0 (correctly). Now it says v1.1+. |

Freezes for me on bootup as well. However, I noticed that if I click on the tray eject button it 'unfreezes' and loads through fine. Strange. |

Yeah, still doing the same for me...I'm glad it was narrowed down to the DVD dongle however.... |

I don't have a modchip, I wanted UnleashX as my dashboard instead of evox. Deleted most ofthe files from the C directory, and replaced the ones that UnleashX would use. It was working on my router at home, but when I got back to school no matter what port in the back of the router I pug it into, it still doesn't work. And I have gone to the DCHP Clients Table and it does not show that anything else is connected besides my cpmputer. I am not sure what to do. |

I really like UnleashX, but one thing really puts me off :-) I can't ftp to it from my Mac with Transmit running under OSX 10.3/Panther. It connects and logs in OK, but fails getting a file listing etc... Really disappointing since you have been working on the ftp server... In one of the earlier builds it was rock solid! (BTW I might have been running OSX 10.2, same Transmit version when it worked). You must have made some major changes??? It would be great to get it working again! |

Try using a static IP address. |

And about the shutdown notice, yeah, it will be reset when FTP stats change. It's by design. You don't want it turned off while copying, do you? |

A couple things I've found (and already talked to you about...just letting others know it's being worked on) 1) Audio stops playing when dvd drive is ejected and restarts on a dif song. 2) RSS Newsfeeds don't work 3) Need for Speed Underground logo won't show up |
QUOTE (unleashx @ Jan 20 2004, 11:04 PM) |
Anyone know who did Soundtrack Editor? Haven't use it myself . I guess using the API is unstable, more so with the audio exploit. Plus, st.db can easily get corrupted for an unknown reason. I'm thinking of reading sd.db manually to tie the music folders with soundtrack and song name, unless you wouldn't care to have "0000" for a sountrack name and "0000001.wma" for a song name . I'm thinking of parsing it myself, but anything that would speed up my work is ace. I know where to look for the music, I just need the format of st.db. @sirsmooth, I'll continue to check with everything else. |
QUOTE (unleashx @ Jan 22 2004, 07:35 AM) |
@lotw, If I don't crack the problem with music, I may go the mp3 way (with support for wma still, of course) much earlier than anticipated. |

So far I've had this new version lock up a few times when I select Apps or System. It's only done it a few times now but I don't think I've seen it mentioned before. It seems to do it shortly after I connect my crossover cable to it. Also still getting the lock on boot (black screen) on occasion...not had any problems with IGR as of yet. My roommates xbox locks occasionally on boot as well. Both are v1.0 with larger hdds. One with 4977 (yeah, I need to get around to upping his bios ) and 4980 on mine. Both are set a default through x-select. Yes, both of us have music enabled. It doesn't happen often enough for me to want to disable it. It doesn't do it nearly as much as in the previous release. It's tolerable enough that both of us are keeping it default...this dash is too good not to. Again, thanks for this wonderful dash. I'm not complaining...just trying to give you as much input as I can. If you need anything configured any specific way on my end for testing then let me know. |

Is there a way to get rid of that humming noise in the background!!!?? Just go into your settings in Unleash X and turn the "Sound" to zero. You can leave the music at 100 to still have your soundtrack. |

This is not an UnleashX Problem. Even the MS dashboads allows all the controller ports to control the dashboard. |

No, I haven't tested it with the new IR since I only got the old one. I think this is a problem most of the homebrew scene are experiencing. Anyone have a PocketPC with Ultramote or PDAWin? Or anything that could capture the data? If so, please let me know, it would help a lot. |

PDTP, Please post the Time Server you are trying to sync to. |

@Soop, I tried the file and the 4 others found in the same site, but they seem to work properly. I guess this is the same code from the old IR. My Pioneer (RCA based) IR is also working fine on Xbox. However, I'll be trying a few things later. I'll be contacting a few people later this week who have problems with the IR and have them test the build. |

anyone know why the menu titles stretch beyond the width of the menu (shown by the blue highlight) without shortening to ... ? |
QUOTE (lotw @ Feb 6 2004, 05:44 PM) |
Yes, you have to add the width=200 or whatever works best into the menu line. I had the same problem on my Mars Landing Skin I did with the music tracks. |

I noticed a bug with the xbe renamer. If the new xbe title is shorter than the original. Original title: 1234567890 New title: acbde Result: abcde67890 |
