Taken from the readme file from this release....
"At the moment, theres not much feature but I plan to keep an adding more as I go about it. Here are some features Im planning to include but not limited to:
1) FTP client for your xbox to xbox transfer needs.
2) Video Support (WMV and XMV only). This is purely for skinners delight. Its not my plan to make UnleashX a full featured multimedia player. We already have those and they work so well.

No. This is the QuickCopyDVD. What it does is that it get's the name from the current title, determines your biggest partition and dumps the content there under the Games folder. If you want to control the location, use File Manager and select the Copy Disk option there. Don't forget to patch the xbe afterwards. After its finished copying, select default.xbe, hit start, then XBE File Patch.

I'm mostly amazed by the fact this release came so quickly! That shows great coding in the fact that you can fix bugs without having to modify a bunch of worm code... keep the quality high!!
Also - If I'm not mistaken you have fixed some bugs that have never been mentioned... maybe privately, but I don't remember some of these fixes ever reported! totally cool!

I'll look into it why it's not saving.
Just so you know, you can hold any of the trigger buttons while inserting a disk to suppress auto loading, exactly like the Shift key in Windows.

-another prob i have is when i set to auto launch games in the settings to No(or yes)and save it and reboot it seems to not save the change ,i have to edit the config.xml for it to let me change it frm yes to no,the dash reports it changed it and needs to reboot but when u reboot it doesnt save the change,ne thoughts...
EDIT: never mind about changing the tracks,i found it,it was hold the white button and push left/righ on the D-Pad,but 1 thing i noticed is its extreamly fast,i push right and it skips to the last track cause it go's so fast,ne 1 to slow it down???

I'll check but I had this working properly. Though XBoxgeek reported that when he entered something in the screensaver text, that would lock up his xbox. Leaving it blank or turning it off altogether is his work around.

Can you elaborate more? What do you mean F doesn't work? Can't you browse it from File Manager?

When you say "don't work". Does it just not load or does the game game crash at a particular point.
I have just checked Halo retail PAL from both original disc and backup and UnleashX launches & runs them fine. I must admit I only played half the first level as a test, but it was okay.

it dosen't show up in the file manager or on any ftp clients (flashfxp, FileZilla, ie) and any menu that is mapped to it comes up empty, the skins menu also comes up empty and thats on the c drive

Screenshot grab should use something other than the left trigger - not easy to be accurate when the trigger changes the menu items.

I have a Samsung, would this affect this..
also, through editing the xml and transferrring from PC to xbox a few times, I have noticed that the xbox copy (being overwritten) has shrunk since i last copied it over. Perhaps this is part of the save issue?
I'd like to say keep it simple, like just a launcher.
But many people want many different things so i guess just keep it unbloated, unlike many replacement dashboards and media players *cough*

EDIT: ok i been playin with the dash and i come to the conclusion thats its the screen saver lockin up the xbox when u ftp in with more than 1 ftp,as soon as the saver is ment to come on it locks up the xbox.....is ne 1 else having the same prob????

Still I get the same issues.
love this dash though and it's a small annoyance but nothing major. I got my bootdisk so that holds me up until the bug get's sorted out.

"Final" only meant a version that have the worst bugs ironed out
It allread looks FAR more promising that the nexGen-vaporware (sorry guys, but is it ;( ) LOL
I downloaded a few skins which didn't work that great with the latest UnleashX version... I only imagine that's because you have changed something reg. the skinning-engine ?
Also a small suggestion : you should set the IP adress to dynamic in the default XML setup file... the first time i ran UnleashX, my PC was kicked of the net since it used the 192.168.1.100 address
