Most likely you have some sort of explorer plug-in causing a problem. Sadly, there are tons of them out there and a lot of them are invisible to users, so it can be very hard to pin them down. Worse, it's impossible to test with all the possible configurations of software and hardware.
If you could, post only the "Call Stack Information:" section from the qwix.elf file that should have been generated. If it doesn't say "Call Stack Information" it will start with "Address | Module | Unit | Class | Method | Line".

fyi, fixed the problem. Just used system restore to change my computer settings to about a week or so ago. Able to run qwix fine now
